Pre-Columbian 3 Bird Head To Tail Group Bead
In the 1960's a large number of caches of brown and black incised beads, or spindle whorls,were found in digs of the Manabi culture of Ecuador, dated 500 B.C. to 500 A.D.The greatest numbers were simply decorated with circles, dots and lines. A far smaller number depicted creatures that flew, ran or crawled, combinations of several of these, or fantasy figures. All were filled with a clay -like substance that accentuated the incised designs.We are offering a selection of these, the finest we've seen and selected from thousands. ZAPOTEC PRE-COLUMBIAN Pottery FRAGMENTS
I obtained these fragments during a trip to Mexico in 1967. The two largest are 2 1/2" X 2 1/2". One is 3" wide. Zapotec civilization was a pre Columbian cilvilization that lived in the Vally of Oaxaca of Southern Mesoamerica. This culture dates back 2500 years and have left archaeological evidence such as buildings, ball courts, magnificent tombs and grave goods which included gold jewelry. These evidences are of the ancient city of Monte Alban, which was one the first major city in Mesoamerica.

The East hasn't been good in forever. Jordan was the east in the 90's.

Gilmore Girls New Season 8
I love Gilmore Girls and I wanted them to do a season 8 too! But this was really great.I think they were going to do a 13 episode Season 8, like "Friends" did, but Lauren and Alexis opted not to. Thats so dumb! I wonder why they didn't want to do it...I would have watched the 8th season even if it was only 13 episodes. Cuz I wasn't too crazy about the series finale. I guess it was supposed to symbolize that nothing is going to change, but - it could have been 100x better if Amy came back and wrote it! I loved Gilmore Girls, but the show went downhill a little bit after Amy stopped writing it. Like they stopped talking really fast and having funny conversations like they used to...but I still love Gilmore Girls! Even Lauren Graham said that she felt that after Amy left the character wasn't the same, constant - she said it was weird not having to memorize paragraphs of dialog.
